Items
An item is anything you sell or buy: a product, a service, or a fee.
Adding an item
- Click New item.
- Enter the item code and item name. The code appears on invoices and is used to match online store products (SKU), so pick a stable numbering scheme from the start.
- Choose the item group, e.g. drinks, spare parts, services.
- Choose the unit of measure: piece, carton, kg, hour.
- Set whether it's a stock item:
| Type | Example | Tracks quantity? |
|---|---|---|
| Stock | Goods, raw materials | Yes, and shows in warehouse balance |
| Non-stock | Service, consulting, delivery | No |
- Enter the selling rate and save.
Item image
Add an image to each item; it shows on the cashier screen and makes picking faster.

- Price Lists
A price list is a set of prices for all items. The system starts with Standard Selling; add others such as Wholesale, Branch 2, or Restaurants.
- To set an item's price in a list: Item Price → New, then item, list and rate.
- To apply a list to a customer automatically, set it as the default price list on the customer or customer group.
- You can switch the list manually inside any invoice.
Pricing rules

- Pricing Rules
For automatic discounts with no manual step, such as:
- 10% off for the wholesale customer group.
- A special rate when buying 12 or more.
- A discount on an item group for a limited period.
Create a rule, choose what it applies to (item, item group, brand), for whom (customer, customer group, territory), the condition (minimum qty or amount), the discount or rate, and the validity dates.
Promotions and coupons
- Promotional schemes: tiered offers such as buy 2 get the 3rd free, or discounts that grow with quantity.
- Coupon codes: a code entered on the invoice to give the customer a discount, linked to a pricing rule.
Product bundles

- Product Bundles
Sell several items as one (a gift pack, a meal combo). You sell the bundle at its price, and each item inside is deducted from stock.
Importing items and prices
For large lists use Settings → Data → Data Import with document type Item, then Item Price for prices.
