Your data is stored on Rowdx servers with regular backups. On top of that, you can download a copy of your data in Excel at any time — to keep, open, or move to any other software.

What's in the copy

A ZIP file with Excel files covering:

• Master data: customers, suppliers, items, prices, warehouses and chart of accounts.
• Accounting: sales and purchase invoices with their lines, receipts and payments, journal entries and the general ledger.
• Operations: quotations and orders, stock movements and balances, assets, employees and salary slips.

Downloading a copy

1. Open Settings → Backup.
2. Click Prepare Excel files now.
3. Preparation can take a few minutes depending on your data; you can keep working meanwhile.
4. When ready, the copy appears under Copies available for download with its date and size. Click to download.

The system keeps only the last three copies. Download the one you need and store it yourself.

When to download a copy

• Before closing the fiscal year.
• Before big changes, such as a large data import.
• Periodically (e.g. monthly) as your own archive.
• Before cancelling your subscription.
