Rowdx apps
All apps work on your company's own system: the same items, customers, prices and permissions. Whatever is recorded in any app shows immediately in the accounts and reports, with no syncing or importing.
| App | For | Plan |
|---|---|---|
| Rowdx app | Business owner, accountant and sales manager | All plans |
| Cashier (point of sale) | Shops, restaurants and cafés | All plans (points of sale by plan) |
| Sales rep app | Field sales and distribution reps | Business and Enterprise |
| Manager app | Rep supervisor and sales manager | Business and Enterprise |
| Helpdesk and Insights | Customer service team, and anyone needing analysis dashboards | Business and Enterprise |
Rowdx app (mobile)
Available on Android and iOS. The first screen asks for your company address (like yourcompany.rowdx.com), then email and password.
Login and security
- Fingerprint or Face ID login after the first sign-in.
- Two-factor authentication if enabled on your account. See Two-factor authentication.
- If you work on more than one company, choose it from Choose company.
What you do in it
- Home: today's figures (sales, cash, receivable, payable), create shortcuts, and what needs your attention.
- Documents: sales invoices, quotations, sales orders, purchase invoices, purchase orders and customers. Browse, search, create new with lines, and submit.
- Snap the receipt: attach a photo of the supplier invoice or receipt from the camera or gallery.
- Print and share: A4 PDF, a Bluetooth thermal printer (58, 80 or 100 mm), or WhatsApp.
- Reports: profit and loss, stock balances, sales register and more, with quick periods (today, month, year) and Excel export.
- Offline: the last things you opened stay readable when the connection drops.
What each user sees follows their permissions: a cashier, for example, sees only their shift and sales, not the company's profit.
Cashier (point of sale)
Runs in the browser on any device (computer, tablet, phone), and keeps selling offline, sending sales when the connection returns. Full guide in the Cashier section:
- Cashier setup: devices, staff, PINs and printers.
- Selling: items, barcodes, tables, modifiers and offers.
- Payments, receipts & returns.
- Shifts and the kitchen display.
Sales rep app
For the rep in the field, on their phone:
- Open the day: the rep starts their day with a code, which starts recording their location and visits.
- Visit plan: customers to visit today in route order; record each visit and its outcome.
- Selling at the customer: a sales order or invoice from their van stock (their warehouse), with the customer's balance shown first, and Bluetooth printing or WhatsApp sharing. Drafts they created can be deleted; submitted ones can't.
- Collection: a payment receipt from the customer.
- Expenses: fuel or hospitality with a receipt photo, sent to the manager for approval.
- Messages: chat with the manager and team groups.
- Close the day: a day summary (visits, sales, collections, cash with the rep) before closing.
- My commission and reports: sales against target, and commission due by tiers.
Setting up a rep (once)
- Add the rep as an employee and a user.
- From CRM → Setup → Sales persons create a sales person and link the employee.
- Create a warehouse for them (their van) and stock it with a stock transfer.
- Set targets and commission tiers from the manager app or the system.
Manager app
For the rep supervisor:
- Reps today: who opened their day, their visits, sales and collections live. The same summary shows on the dashboard.
- Map: each rep's route today and current location, with Request location now for a specific rep.
- Alerts: a rep hasn't opened their day, tracking is lost, GPS is off, phone battery is low, or the day wasn't closed at the end of shift.
- Plans and targets: set each rep's visit plan and monthly targets.
- Commissions: what's due to each rep by tiers.
- Documents and messages: approve reps' documents and message them.
